Are you insured?

neat. is fully insured. We carry the recommended insurance in 
our industry to provide peace of mind.

Are your staff insured?

All our team members are insured, and covered by Worker’s Compensation.

What happens if something is broken in my home, or if someone gets hurt?

Our cleaners are very careful, and although it is rare for anything to be broken, accidents do happen.  If anything is broken, we will let you know immediately, and arrange to have the item repaired or replaced. Employees are all covered through our insurance and WCB.

How do you train your staff?

neat’s team members are required to shadow and assist a Lead Supervisor for 3 months. During the training period, the team is taken through our thorough cleaning procedures and policies. Continuous training is provided throughout employment. Furthermore, all applicants are required to submit a criminal background check.

What areas do you serve?

neat. currently serves Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and Stony Plain. If you live outside of these areas please reach out, we can review your needs and review how to best service your request.

How often should I have my home cleaned?

That is a personal preference. If you choose to book recurring, your options are weekly, bi-weekly, tri-weekly or once a month. You can also book on an occasional basis. (Advance notice is appreciated as we book up quickly and want to ensure we can accommodate your preferred date and time)

What days and times do we service clients?

Monday – Friday, 8:ooam – 5:oopm

Do I need to be home for the clean? Should I leave, or should I stay?

You are not required to be home for a scheduled appointment. Depending upon your comfort, you can choose to be home during an appointment, choose to come and go or to not be home at all. We are comfortable with either scenerio.

What time is my appointment?

A reminder is sent to you the business day prior to your scheduled appointment.

How do you gain access into my home?

It’s up to you how you’d like us to enter your home. The following are three available options:

  •  Garage Code or Door code
  •  Hidden Key
  •  neat. has a key to your property – key’s are accessed by Supervisors the morning of your clean and returned promptly upon completion.

Do I need to tidy my house before you come?

While not required, if you are able to tidy before we come, we will be able to work more efficiently.

What kinds of products do you use?

If you are particular about the products used in your home or if there is a product that needs to be used, we ask that they be supplied to our team. We do have preferred cleaning products we bring along to each clean, that we trust to complete the job to our detailed standards.

Do I need to supply my own vacuum?

Yes, we do ask that a vacuum is provided for our team.

Will you clean behind and under my appliances?

We can, however, we as that they be moved in advance. We do not move furniture or appliances where we believe we could run the risk of damaging floors and/or if we are unable to physically move the furniture due to its’ weight. Refer to our additional services for further items included.

Do you shampoo carpets?

We do not offer this service.

Do you use cloths or sponges when cleaning?

We use micro-fibre cloths. We do not use sponges as they retain bacteria.

Are you pet friendly?

We are, our team is happy to spend the day with your furry babies. We will also make note of any special instructions needed to make them feel comfortable while we are in your home.

How many people will be coming to clean our home?

Dependent on the sq. ft. of your home we will have anywhere from one to three teams members at your home.

How can I pay for my appointment?

Cheque (made out to neat life inc.), E-mail money transfer or Cash.

* neat. requires a credit card on file for all clients.

Do we make mistakes? What if I am not happy with the service I have received?

We do make mistakes, but we guarantee nothing less than a flawless resolution to our mistakes. Give us a call and we’ll return to your home and review your concerns and make sure going forward these details are noted.

What If I need to cancel my appointment?

Please give us a minimum 48 hours if you need to cancel your appointment.  If less than 24 hours notice is given, or if the cleaners arrive and are unable to enter the premises, a $50 non refundable fee will be charged.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes. They are sold by hourly increments at a rate of $50/per hour with a 3 hour minimum.
